The current trend among Indian holiday seekers is to choose a destination that offers a combination of Vacation Ownership, Lifetime Holidays, relaxation as well as fun filled activities.
The recent survey conducted by Resorts Condominium International (RCI)
confirms the trend of Indians looking for an activity-based holiday.
Buying timeshare vacation holidays too is catching up among highflying
corporates. Elucidating further, there is a major shift from what was originally viewed as a ownership holiday product only for the
middle-income group, vacation ownership is now also sought by CEOs of
multinational companies, large local corporates and business
entrepreneurs who wants to take advantage of the international exchange with their families at least twice a year. The new class of vacation lifetime owners prefer exotic destinations away from hectic urban routines.
The Indian timeshare concept was picking among the upper middle class in India, the facilities provided by timeshare beachfront resorts were being upgraded to provide a unique holiday experience to the customers. Similarly, some beach holiday resorts offer facilities to learn golf. Another important fact pointed out by the survey was that women played an important role in decision making regarding purchasing time-shares as well as planning holidays.
