Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan has some splendidly beautiful gardens, which are a major attraction of the city. The gardens have been developed beautifully to pull more and more tourists. The founder of Jaipur, Sawai Raja Jai Singh and his town planner Vidyadhar are the people behind the beauty of this splendid city. There are many gardens in Jaipur and the most remarkable amongst them include Ram Niwas Bagh, Vidyadhar Garden, Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh, Kanak Vrindavan Valley and many more.

Ram Niwas Bagh is among one of the green patches in the city of Jaipur. Along with enhancing natural beauty of the city, the garden also houses a couple of prominent attractions of the city. Built by Sawai Raja Pratap Singh in the year 1868, this Garden was specially constructed to offer relief to the people of Jaipur from the drought that had taken over the state. It is believed that the total expense for constructing the Bagh was around four lakh rupees at that time.

The major attractions that constitute the Bagh include Albert Hall, Zoological Garden and the garden area. The foundation stone of the famous Albert Hall was laid in the year 1876 by Prince of Wales Prince Albert and it houses an amazing museum.

Ram Niwas Bagh is located in the heart of the city, which makes it easily commutable from all parts of Jaipur. The place is at a convenient distance of nearly two kilometers from the center of the city at Badi Chaupar. The tourists arriving in the Pink City make it a point to visit this place to enjoy the natural beauty of the garden and of the flowering and non flowering plants in the garden and the museum at Albert Hall.
